Adriana’s passion for helping others began at an early age. At just 12 years old, she played an instrumental role in co-founding an orphanage in her hometown of Morelia, Mexico — a UNESCO World Heritage city known for its beauty and culture. After three years of dedication and development, the orphanage opened its doors, and Adriana moved in at age 15 to live and work there while completing a Social Work program, which she attended on a full scholarship.

To this day, Adriana remains deeply involved in the orphanage and in the lives of the many generations of children who have called it home, continuing to support and guide them as they grow into adulthood.

Her ambitions and sense of purpose continued to grow, leading her to pursue missionary work and ultimately a new chapter in Canada at the age of 20 — a move she describes as part of her life’s calling.

In Canada, Adriana became part of the first generation of volunteers at Rogers House, a hospice for children, and was one of the founders of the Condors, a hockey team for children and youth with special needs, where she served as Volunteer Coordinator. She continued her commitment to service by volunteering in numerous long-term care homes, where her compassion and dedication to improving the lives of others deepened.

Her path naturally led her into the retirement living sector, where she built an outstanding career as the General Manager of a respected, family-owned retirement residence with deep community roots. At the same time, she co-founded and managed a home care agency, which she successfully operated until it was sold during the pandemic.

Today, as the Founder and Director of Seniors Journey, Adriana continues to bring compassion, expertise, and heartfelt commitment to helping families find the right home and care for their loved ones.
